I'm Mayera
recently in class we have been drawing up storyboards and filming little mini projects. At first it was kind of difficult since we didn't know if the stories was suppose to connect or be entertaining, but as soon as we found the genre we wanted to do the ides started to flood in we made a little crime scene which as instructed by our teachers had a minimum of 9 shots. After filming we were instructed to find a video editing software, everyone was provided two by the teacher and we would have to research 3 more that met all the requirements.
Provided editing software's
- Openshot.org
- Clipchamp. com
Both of which who met these requirements:
- web-based
- lay multiple tracks
- Pull audio off video tracks
- collaborations
When searching for the websites was easier than I thought but some aspects were kind of difficult like when you search up "editing software's" their isn't a lot that come up with the collaborations element which was pretty heart breaking especially when all the requirements are provided but depending on the what kind it has different effects and also different difficulty level.
some of the editing software's I've found:
NCH editing software - which allows you to meet up with those requirements except for collaboration
open shot - allows you to add multiple videos and audio to the edit, allow over 70 languages that can is able to get translated, 3D animations, slow motion time effects, and many more
Clipchamp - meets all of these requirements provided and one of the ones my teacher recommends
when deciphering which software I liked better I got every shot that was filmed and saw which one was easier to function with the NCH video pad editor I realized that the quality from the video wasn't carried over making the project look really scratchy and unclear which is somethings you would never want your viewers to see.
In my editing process I will most likely use Openshot.com since it seems like its suppose to be used for those editing techniques
