A script is the written text of a play, movie, or broadcast. A script helps the actors know exactly what to do during that scene. A script also helps it make the movie easier to understand and get the concept of. Overall the script is helpful to the directors and to the actors. The steps are listed each making the scenes better by each shot the six of them are listed below:

- Craft a Log line

A long line is a short summary of your story. Usually around 2 sentences. Your long line doesn’t have to be to long but has to be able to generate ideas for your script.

 -Write a treatment 

A treatment is your longer summary. It contains all the ideas you want in your films following your genres conventions. They have to make sense and can be understood just by the summary.

 - Make characters 

While devolving characters you have to make sure that the people you are thinking in mind to be the characters have to kind of match. Your actor shouldn’t count to much on acting they should count on how they’re truly act and how they can relate to that character. 

 -Plot

Your plot and outline typically makes up literally most of the the whole movie. Your plot involves the conflict that the characters go through and how they resolve it. These make your audience want to watch the movie so you have to couch’s on making those really good and fun.

 -Create your first draft 

Your first draft helps you better see what to change in your film before actually creating your film. If you don’t first make a first draft you may change your mind many times and make it not only hard for you but also for your actors. Your first draft help take care of the problems like what you like and don’t like. 

-Take a break

Honestly stressing yourself out can affect your brain power. Your gonna need to rewrite stuff, find actors, film, and that can bring lots of stress so you should take a couple of hours or a day to just relax so your not using all your brain power.

- Rewrite

Now comes the part where you rewrite the first draft. This step is where you change things in your script that may be boring or doesn’t make sense. This will help crate your film and let people know what they acting on.

Stage 3- Pre-production

Hello its Mayera

The production of the opening scene is when we start formulating our storyboard to know what each character is going to be doing. This is a pertinent part of the filming process since we need the location for teams project we are filming at a park.

In our opening scene we utilized the public restroom to show case where the first scene begins. The characters in the are listed below:

Kathy- Xena Ceron

Karma- Marie Guillaume 

Chuckles- Ethan Stone

Videographer- Mayera Seraphin 

There is gonna be a dialogue between Karma and Kathy when she goes to the bathroom the full script is shown below:

though the script itself has dialogue the editor is going to put audio over to add more suspense. The audio will suppress so that there is minimal background noise. Our storyboards show the three characters and first as shown below

These scenes are the two that are mostly important to the plot since they make up each location and show they're being used. For each we are wanting to convey a modern type feel while still trying to make it mysterious and scary. while the storyboard may not very horrific that effect will be produced through the actual opening scene.

When researching this topic I was provided the link to a slide share by my teacher in which i had to do more research  because she stated that some of the things might have changed  the link is place right below.

while researching this topic I learned that 90% of media is owned by paramount pictures, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. Pictures, Walt Disney, and Columbia Pictures. they are all integrated in the industry. They will buy smaller companies invest into them and as they get bigger they expand their franchise.

Production investors will makes sure that the films that are being created is almost the same as those that are bringing in money  or if the directors have had previous hits. Producers must bring a list of elements together in order to get the green light some of them are included below:

• Principle cast
• Director
• Cinematographer
• Screenplay             

This will give them the green light that tells that the funding has been made available by the investors.

Case study

Hi I'm Mayera

I am doing a case study on   IT (2017) and firstly the movie couldn't be better it was a huge hit so all aspects of it and the history.

History/target audience

The onscreen tittle IT was supernatural coming of age horror film that is based on Stephen Kings 1986 novel. finding background on this film was fairly easy since it was just film based off a novel, in my time researching films I have found that a hand full of them are based on novels that were scary enough to be turned into a movie. which means that the others are true stories. In my opinion those kinds are even scarier which is why many horror films are R-rated and are for targeted audiences 15-24 year old's and is mostly male, for me this is kind of good because I am a 15 year old female who doesn't like horror films and this is kind of ironic since my groups opening sequence genre is horror. The film budget was 354 million USD dollars

Cross-media convergence and synergy- For a film to be successful, it is presented to an audience through many different media platforms. for the movie IT there was and incessant use of trailers on You-tube.
